Elkin's Casino Birthday Party

Saturday night we went to Chris's Casino Birthday Party. It was a ton of fun! Although I didn't play any of the casino games, Sam did for about 10 minutes until he lost all of his play money. I found the karoake machine (and the three new cd's Katie had bought) and that's where I spent most of my night! Me and Jill sang for hours; we are better known as the karaoke hogs!

As for the rest of the weekend, I spent Saturday scrapbooking at Kelley's house and Sam spent the day studying. I'm so excited....I've signed up for 2 weekend scrapbooking retreats....one in March and one in April. Now that I'm feeling GREAT I'm motivated to get caught up on my scrapbooking (2007 album, Razorback album, Christmas album, etc.) before the baby gets here!

In other news, we are anxiously awaiting the arrival of our new king size bed. I am sooooo excited, but its not going to be here soon enough. Its already getting uncomfortable to sleep so I am looking forward to a much more comfortable and larger bed! One of my projects in the next couple of weeks is to build an upholstered headboard.....hopefully it will turn out okay! If you've ever made one, give me some tips! :)

We go back to the dr. for my 16-wk appt Thursday. I'll post any exciting details then!

Happy Birthday Ella!!!!!

Just had to post a pic of Ella on her first birthday! She was so cute! When Katie first set her cake in front of her she wanted to pick the entire thing up with both hands! Too funny.................

Preggo Pics - 12 wks

Starting to get a little baby bump....somedays it seems bigger than other days! I'm ready to be REALLY showing ~ tired of the in between.

These pics are a few weeks old as I'm heading into my 15th week next week.....hoping for the next 4-5 weeks to fly......we're ready to find out if its a boy/girl!!!

We've picked out the baby's furniture. It was so hard b/c there were so many options and there is so much pretty furniture out there!!! We can't wait to order it and start creating the nursery! Here's the link for pics of the furniture.

Can't sleep tonight.....sleep is already getting harder for me.....its uncomfortable and hard to go back to sleep after getting up to go to the bathroom multiple times every night. I gave up tossing and turning for downloading some pics and blogging....its 3:45 am.....I think I'm crazy.

We're supossed to go to church in the morning too.....its gonna be hard!!!!!!

Trip to Dallas for the Cotton Bowl

Sam's Christmas present from my parents this year was 2 tickets to the Cotton Bowl and hotel accomodations (I was lucky and he picked me to go with him)! Well, ya'll all know how the game turned out and it didn't end up being that exciting for Razorback fans, but we still had an AWESOME time in Dallas. We got to spend alot of time w/ our great friends, Corey and Whitney. They toured us around Dallas.....showed us some great shopping and some yummy food. We spent part of the day at the outlets in Allen, TX and then most of another day at Northpark Mall (we barely missed seeing Jessica Simpson that day at the mall). We spent New Year's Eve at our hotel w/ Corey and Whitney and all the Razorback fans. We really had a blast!

First BLOG ever!

I'm sure most of you have already heard our exciting news, but if you haven't ~ I'm PREGNANT (currently 13-wks along). My due date is July 15.

This seems like its the first New Year's EVER that my resolution hasn't been to lose weight ~ go to the gym more and eat healthier. Well, I know that I need to eat healthy and get some exercise, but I'm not trying to lose any weight. So instead my two New Year's resolutions for 2008 are to GET ORGANIZED (I'm typically organized, but this pregnancy thing has thrown me off a bit) and to START A BLOG. Sam and I aren't really that exciting....but I thought a blog would be a good way to keep everyone up to date w/ updates and eventually photos and videos of Baby Haney!
